Background

I'm Eduardo, a first year Ph.D. Researcher at École Polytechnique in Paris (France) at the Geometric & Visual Computing (GeoViC) group, as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network CLIPE, funded by the European Union for the Horizon 2020 framework. My research is centered on realistic and multi-scale 3D animations for humans and animals in dynamic and virtual environments, with focus on the entertainment industry.
Prior to my Ph.D., I completed my M.Sc. at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, and wrote my thesis at the AIS group along with Robert Bosch GmbH, advised by Prof. Dr. Joschka Boedecker and Prof. Dr. Abnihav Valada. Additionally, I worked as research assistant on SLAM and Autonomous Driving simulations with Unreal Engine. Some of my research interests are AI for Game Development, Behavior Planning, Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision or Perception.
